THE Manila Regional Trial Court has acquitted a former National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) legal assistance chief and his brother, an employee of Bureau of Immigration (BI) of graft and corruption, robbery extortion and violation of Code of Conduct and Ethical Standard of Public Officials and Employees charges, filed by a suspect in the controversial "pastillas scam" at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
