The broader All Shares went up by 9.67 points, or 0.27 percent, to close at 3,653.17.
"The Philippine Stock Exchange index corrected slightly higher after the peso exchange rate strengthened versus the US dollar for the 3rd straight day," Michael Ricafort, chief economist at Rizal Commercial Banking Corp., said.
