Magnolia routs Phoenix to claim first win
Magnolia Chicken Timplados chalked up its first win behind a raging second-quarter offensive en route to a 108-95 rout of Phoenix Super LPG in the 2022-23 PBA Governors' Cup match on Friday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Jerick Ahanmisi buried all four of his three-point attempts while Calvin Abueva scored nine points in a critical second-quarter blitz that saw the Hotshots outscore the Fuel Masters, 35–15, to turn a two-point lead into a 58-35 halftime spread.
