Ex-policeman cleared in Richard King's death

DAVAO CITY: The Davao City Police Office confirmed on Tuesday night that former police colonel Leonardo Felonia, who was accused in killing billionaire businessman Richard King, has been acquitted and released from detention.

The Regional Trial Court Branch 14, through Presiding Judge Gerardo Braganza, absolved Felonia for lack of evidence. King was killed in Barrio Obrero, Davao City on June 12, 2014.
