Bay Area taps Fil-Am guard as import

FILIPINO American guard Sedrick Barefield is set to reinforce Bay Area's backcourt after signing up with the Hong Kong-based ballclub, which is now preparing for the 2023 East Asia Super League Champions Week slated on March 1-5 in Japan.

'Sedrick is a Filipino American who will be utilized as an Asian import on the Bay Area Dragons during the East Asia Super League champions Week,' the Bay Area Dragons' official Facebook page wrote in a short description, announcing Barefield's inclusion in the team on Tuesday.
