Abu Sayyaf, BIFF members surrender to government

ZAMBOANGA CITY: Two Abu Sayyaf terrorists have surrendered to the military authorities in the southern Philippine province of Sulu, once a stronghold of the dreaded pro-ISIS group.

Maj. Gen. Ignatius Patrimonio, commander of Joint Task Force Sulu, has identified the duo only by their alias Hadjang, 50; and Nadz, 20. He said the two men surrendered on Monday, February 6, to the 6th Special Forces Battalion under Lt. Col. Harold Nemeño in the village of Buhanginan in Patikul town.
