THE country's gross international reserves (GIR) rose to $99.7 billion last month from $96.1 billion at the end of December, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) reported late on Tuesday.
The "more than enough external liquidity buffer", the BSP said in a statement, is equivalent to 7.5 months' worth of goods imports and payments of services and primary income.
