THE House of Representatives has designated Quezon Rep. Wilfrido Mark Enverga as caretaker for Valenzuela City's first district, Mayor Weslie "Wes" Gatchalian said on Tuesday.
In an interview with The Manila Times via Viber, the mayor also said special elections will no longer be needed with the designation of Enverga as the caretaker after the appointment of Rex Gatchalian as secretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) by President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.
