THE Taiwan Tourism Bureau (TTB) embarked on a 16-country tour this 2023, holding 20 tourism workshops. From February 3 to 5, the first stop was in the Philippines at the Travel Tour Expo, the largest such event held annually at the SMX Convention Center in Manila, TTB rolled out an array of Taiwan-featured cultural and travel products.

Gabbi Garcia, Taiwan's first Filipino tourism ambassador, attended the workshop that promoted Taiwan tourism and shared the charms of Taiwan with Filipino convention-goers. Also present was Taiwan's oldest and most famous cake and pastry makers, who conducted delicious and fun-filled do-it-yourself activities such as making colored OhBear cookies and pineapple cakes.
