Wayward truck kills couple in Vizcaya

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya: A couple died after they were buried under sacks of fertilizers when a wayward truck crashed into a store, rammed two other vehicles and fell on its side in Purok 2, Bone South, Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya over the weekend, police said.

Maj. Jolly Villar, Nueva Vizcaya police spokesman, said Frederick del Mundo, 54, and his wife Gina, 55, were buying goods at the store when the trailer truck (RMD-336) and bed (BUF-706) allegedly suffered mechanical problems.
