(UPDATE) THE 85-man team that the Philippine government will deploy to the Republic of Turkiye is set to leave today, Wednesday aboard the earliest via commercial flight provided by the Turkish Airlines, according to the Office of Civil Defense (OCD).
The group is composed of personnel from the OCD (2), the Medium Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) team from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (33), Metro Manila Development Authority (10), the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (9), and emergency medical technicians (EMTs) from the Department of Health (31).
