THE Quezon City government has enhanced its programs to promote the well-being of residents, especially the young, amid reports of rising suicide cases.

"We have boosted our efforts here in the city by creating programs to assist individuals seeking help and to curb the rise in cases," Mayor Maria Josefina "Joy" Belmonte told The Manila Times.
