Thunderstorms, northeast monsoon prevail in most parts of PH

Cold winds and light rains continue to prevail in most parts of the country because of the northeast monsoon and localized thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Sunday.

Weather specialist Grace Castañeda said localized thunderstorms are affecting Visayas, Mindanao, MIMAROPA (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan) and Bicol Region where partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may be experienced in the next 24 hours.
