Creamline open's title-retention bid with a win despite Valdez's absence

Despite the absence of its superstar Alyssa Valdez, Creamline opened its title-retention bid with a 25-18, 25-20, 25-22 win over Petro Gazz in the 2023 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference on Saturday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

With Valdez still recovering from the knee injury she sustained in the Reinforced Conference last year, Michelle Gumabao and Ced Domingo took up the cudgels as they poured 13 points apiece in the triumph.
