Choco Mucho sweeps Akari as Alinsunurin gets a winning PVL debut

Choco Mucho swept Akari, 25-15, 25-20, 25-20, on Saturday as coach Dante Alinsunurin made a winning debut in the 2023 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) season at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Maddie Madayag unleashed her best game since returning from an ACL injury in the 2021 Open Conference, putting up 11 points on nine attacks, one block, and one service ace to lead the Flying Titans in the season-opening triumph.
