OFW lives in 'Pinoy Konek'

REMOTO CONTROL

MY column the other day on allegedly stolen items at the Manila International Airport got a lot of feedback from overseas Filipino workers. They wrote to me or sent messages to my nightly radio show, 'Pinoy Konek' at Radyo 5, 92.5 News FM, which deals with OFW lives.

Phoebe, a permanent resident in the United States, was interviewed in my show, and she said she didn't want to go home anytime soon if the branded clothes, perfume, sunglasses and chocolates that she saved for would just be stolen at the airport.
