'GO! Manila' app down for maintenance

(UPDATE) ONLINE application for basic services and transactions at Manila City Hall have been suspended as its 'GO! Manila' app undergoes maintenance and upgrade.

'Due to system maintenance and upgrades to serve you better, the GO! Manila app is temporarily unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience,' the Manila City Public Information Office said in an advisory late Thursday.

Residents, however, may log on to www.gomanila.com to avail of the services and conduct transactions with City Hall.

Some of the basic government transactions offered by the GO! Manila app include applying for community tax certificates, civil documents and occupational health permits.

Also offered are e-wallet and prepaid load services; payment of electricity, water, cable and internet bills; and telecommunications services.

The mobile application and website was launched in 2014 but focused on providing real-time traffic updates in the city.

City Hall regulates the e-commerce platform through the electronic data processing services.
