Bangsamoro leaders recommend retired Army general to become BBM peace adviser

THE multi sectoral leaders of the Bangsamoro Automomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) has recommended the appointment of a retired army general to lead the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU).

The group's recommendation comes as it appealed to President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. to immediately appoint a replacement for Carlito Galvez whom the President named to head the Department of National Defense.
