SquidPay e-money license revoked with finality

SQUIDPAY Technology Inc. (SQPAY) can no longer operate a mobile e-wallet following a Monetary Board decision to revoke its license with finality.

In a statement, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas said the Monetary Board, in Resolution 777A dated June 2, 2022, earlier revoked the electronic money issuer-others (EMI-Others) license of SQPAY.
