NLEX shocks TNT as Simmons drops 45

NBA veteran Jonathon Simmons dropped 45 points, while veteran guard Kevin Alas erupted for 10 of his 13 markers in the final period as NLEX shocked TNT via a come-from-behind 110-108 win in their 2022-23 PBA Governors' Cup collision Wednesday night at the Philsports Arena.

Simmons, the former San Antonio Spurs, sparked a critical 10-0 run midway in the final quarter, while Alas made some timely baskets to help NLEX complete the reversal and climb up to a share of leadership with idle Converge at 3-0.
