Bill seeks to raise taxes on non-essential goods, expands list

A bill filed at the House of Representatives seeks to increase the tax rate for non-essential goods, as well as to expand the list of goods covered by the tax.

House Bill 6993 was filed by Albay 2nd District Rep. Joey Salceda on Monday.
