THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) sees a last-minute surge in voter registration on Tuesday to beat the deadline for the filing of application for registration for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) on Oct. 30.
But Comelec Chairman George Erwin Garcia gave his assurance on Monday that the registration hour will be extended if there are still people waiting in line to file their application for registration within a 30-meter radius from the office of the election officer.
