Eala enters main draw of WTA Thailand Open

Filipino tennis ace Alex Eala entered the main draw of the WTA Thailand Open in Hua Hin after beating Belarusian Kristina Dmitruk, 6-2, 7-5, in the second and final round of the tournament qualifiers on Sunday.

The 17-year-old Eala left the 19-year-old Dmitruk in the dust in the first set, winning the opening canto, 6-2.
