Road Warriors sink Batang Pier, earn share of lead

NLEX crawled back from an early deficit behind Jonathon Simmons and its strong bench scoring as the Road Warriors bundled out NorthPort, 121-112 for its second straight win in the 2022-23 PBA Governors' Cup on Saturday at the Ynares Center Antipolo.

Simmons, the former San Antonio Spurs forward, fired 33 points, including eight in the critical fourth-quarter run, while Don Trollano added five down the stretch as the Road Warriors completed their comeback.
