ZAMBOANGA CITY: Police on Friday said it confiscated some 976 bags of red and white onions in an operation at a coastal village in the southern Philippine city of Zamboanga.
Police said the operation managed to intercept motor launch ML Nordisza off the village of Ayala loaded with the contraband and manned by nine crew members.
