PNP 'expects' reopening of Dacer-Corbito case

(UPDATE) THE Philippine National Police (PNP) expects criminal court proceedings in the Dacer-Corbito double-murder case to be reopened in the wake of the arrest of one of the suspects in the more than two-decades-old case.

'This is what we expect, that, as soon as [former Senior Police Officer 1 William Reed 3rd] is turned over to the issuing courts, the criminal case will proceed accordingly,' PNP spokesman Col. Jean Fajardo said on Friday.
