THE Philippines recorded a slimmer net external liabilityposition in the second quarter of 2022, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP)said, due to the lower net external liabilities of the non-financialcorporations (NFCs).
The net external liability position of the Philippines wasat $1.4 trillion in the second quarter last year, based on preliminary datafrom the BSP. This is lower by 11.8 percent than the $1.5 trillion in netexternal liability seen in the previous quarter.
