Labor calls for ratification of ILO 190

ORGANIZED labor has pushed for the early ratification of International Labour Organization (ILO) 190, saying that the move will establish the resolve of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to protect workers and make the Philippines a global leader and model nation for other countries to emulate.

The Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP) on Thursday made the call after the House of Representatives adopted House Resolution 650, which calls for the President's ratification of ILO 190 and confirmation by the Senate.
