DA vows to bring down onion prices

(UPDATE) AN official of the Department of Agriculture (DA) on Thursday assured consumers that the government will bring down the retail prices of onions between P100 and P120 per kilo.

In an interview with The Manila Times, Agriculture deputy spokesman Rex Estoperez said the DA will hold another meeting with the stakeholders to finalize the suggested retail price of onions.
