Meralco, Converge aim for 2-0 start

OPENING day winners Meralco and Converge shoot for a share of the early lead in the team standings when they take on NorthPort and Terrafirma, respectively, in the 2022-23 PBA Governors' Cup today, January 26, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

The Bolts kicked off the conference with a 105-87 rough-housing of the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters. Returning import KJ McDaniels led Meralco with 27 points and 23 rebounds, while Chris Banchero and Allein Maliksi added 17 and 16 points, respectively.
