Additional govt funds needed to start LRT 2 West Extension project

THE Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) is just waiting for additional funding from the national government so that it can finally push through with its Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT 2) West Extension project.

'The plan and all technical designs of the West Extension project for LRT 2 are finished. The documentation is complete, we are just waiting for additional funds,' LRTA Administrator Hernando Cabrera said in a public briefing on Thursday.
