A MEMORANDUM of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Ifugao State University (IFSU) and Hiroshima University (HU) for the Global Internship Program of the Japanese institution and to collaborate and establish partnerships for the implementation of the Global Explorers to Cross Borders (G.ecbo).

Clyde Pumihic, IFSU International Relations officer, said Dr. Keshav Lall Maharjan, HU G.ecbo Program Committee chairman, visited IFSU on Jan. 9 and10, 2023 and discussed with IFSU President Eva Marie Codamon-Dugyon the exploration and expansion of ties between the universities.
