(UPDATE) THE University of the East on Tuesday said that it was in mourning over the death of a 19-year-old student in its Caloocan City campus on Monday, January 23.
"It is with deep sadness that we confirm the sudden passing of a UE Senior High School student [on Monday] morning," the university said in a statement. "The entire UE community is in mourning in the wake of this tragic loss of a young life, and we enjoin everyone to pray for his eternal repose."
