A magnitude 6.0 earthquake jolted Davao Occidental on Tuesday but no damage was expected, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs chief Teresito "Toto" Bacolcol told The Manila Times that the quake that occurred at 10:13 a.m. some 316 kilometers southeast of Balut Island in the municipality of Sarangani was an aftershock of the magnitude 7.0 earthquake that occurred on January 18.
