Marcos wants sovereign wealth fund suited to PH conditions

ZURICH, Switzerland: President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. said the government has to establish a sovereign wealth fund that is designed 'to the Philippine condition'.

Marcos expressed this view after Albay Rep. Joey Salceda said that the controversial bill was quietly 're-engineered' after it swiftly passed the House of Representatives in December 2022.
