DAVOS, Switzerland: World Economic Forum (WEF) President Børge Brende lauded the Philippines Wednesday for its high gross domestic product (GDP) growth, describing it as the "fastest growing" economy among member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean).
During a one-on-one dialogue with President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. at the WEF here, Brende said the Philippine economy surpassed other countries in Southeast Asia.
