THE alert level status of Bulusan Volcano in Sorsogon province has been lowered from 1 to 0, which means Bulusan has returned to "normal following a general decline in monitoring parameters", according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Phivolcs chief Teresito "Toto" Bacolcol cited the volcanic earthquakes that have declined to baseline levels or 0-5 earthquakes a day since the first week of December 2022.
