TO revive the local hog industry adversely affected by the African swine fever (ASF), another bio-secured swine housing facility (BSSHF) worth P5.5 million will be constructed in the town of Piat in Cagayan province.
Executive Director Narciso Edillo of the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 2 (DA-RFO2 for Cagayan Valley) said the BSSHF is the fourth facility in Cagayan and 14th in the region.
