Qualls powers ROS past Meralco in tuneup game

Comebacking PBA import Michael Qualls marked his PBA return by exploding for 53 points, six rebounds and three blocks as he powered his new team Rain or Shine to a 122-120 nipping of the Meralco bolts in their scrimmage game on Monday at the Meralco gym.

It may just be a tuneup game, but Qualls made a strong impression in his first PBA comeback, sealing the win with a go-ahead drive to the basket against Meralco forward Cliff Hodge.
