A ranking official of the Department of Agriculture (DA) on Wednesday said that the onions are available again at the Kadiwa centers after the decision to halt its sale following the controversial deal between the Food Terminal Inc. (FTI) and a farmers' cooperative.
In a radio interview, Agriculture Assistant Secretary and Spokesman Kristine Evangelista said that the sale of the bulbs was an initiative of various farmers cooperatives.
