DMW to repatriate distressed OFWs

A HIGH-LEVEL team from the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) is working with Kuwaiti authorities to bring home more than 300 Filipino workers housed in overcrowded Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA)-run welfare centers.

Migrant Secretary Susan Ople said on Tuesday that they hope to bring home at least 310 of the 460 Filipinos, mostly household service workers or domestic helpers, from Kuwait.
