Multi-awarded indie actress Chai Fonacier hit the ball out of the park with her pivotal role in the Irish-Filipino production "Nocebo," which opens in local theaters today. Unsurprisingly, she plays a Filipino nanny and housekeeper, albeit in a very unexpected characterization and impressed foreign critics to no end.
Nocebo held its world premiere in Ireland end of 2022 and has since picked up more and more fans at the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival, Sitges Film Festival and the Cork, Singapore and QCinema International Film Festivals before today's Philippine commercial run.
