Profit-taking hits PSEi; peso weakens

PROFIT-TAKING pulled the stock market down and the peso also closed weaker against the United States dollar on Tuesday.

The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) lost 31.44 points, or 0.45 percent, to close at 7,014.04 while the broader All Shares fell by 17.23 points, or 0.47 percent, to 3,657.92.
