Procurement savings rise to P681M in 2022

THE government saved nearly P681.2 million last year by dint of a transparent and efficient procurement system, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) said.

DBM Procurement Service (PS-DBM) Executive Director Dennis Santiago said the 2022 savings totaled P681,198,056.77, higher than the P661.775 million recorded in 2020 and 2021's P559.094 million.
