IN its pursuit to strengthen its relations with other nongovernment organizations, and with a goal to directly link its primary clientele to programs and services that would help improve its current situation, the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP), headed by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Elpidio Jordan Jr., made a courtesy visit at the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) headquarters in Mandaluyong City last Jan. 10, 2023 to speak with PRC Chairman and CEO Richard "Dick" Gordon.

The meeting was initiated by PCUP to explore the possibility of collaboration with the PRC and to discuss the programs and services that the latter could extend to uplift the current plight of the marginalized sector in the country.
