Faster reforms come next after foreign trips

BUSINESSMEN seem pleased about the efforts of President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. to promote the Philippines abroad. Chris Nelson of the British Chamber of Commerce Philippines told this newspaper that the presidential trips create a buzz about this country among investors and others looking for opportunities in the region. That was echoed by his fellow executive directors in the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines and the Nordic Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines. And as mentioned in a previous editorial, Jose Maria 'Joey' Conception, who has been advising presidents about entrepreneurship, said that it was good for the country to have Mr. Marcos himself as its No. 1 salesman.
