PH now 'hotbed' of talent after Dolly De Leon

FILIPINOS should be delighted with the inclusion of actress Dolly de Leon in this year's nominees for the Golden Globe awards as this has attracted the eyes of the world that the Philippines is a hotbed for talent, a congressman said on Friday.

'Let's celebrate her nomination and hope for an Oscar nomination to continue her groundbreaking streak and make history,' Pangasinan Fourth District Rep. Christopher de Venecia, chairman of the House Special Committee on Creative Industries and Performing Arts, said.
