SENIOR Citizen party-list Rep. Rodolfo Ordanes on Thursday renewed his call for the full funding of Republic Act (RA) 11916 or the "Social Pension Act" that lapsed into law on July 30, 2022.
"Our quest continues for full funding and implementation of Republic Act 11916, raising the indigent seniors' monthly social pension from P500 to P1000. Sadly, the 2023 General Appropriations Act covers only P500," Ordanes said.
