NATIONAL Security Adviser Clarita Carlos said in a National Security Council meeting on Thursday that the government expects the disintegration of the remaining five communist guerilla groups in the country by the first quarter of 2023.
During the presentation of the year-end accomplishment of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-Elcac) in Malacañang, Carlos said the momentum of the NTF-Elcac is the driving force that would end insurgency in the Philippines.
