INFORMATION technology and business process management (IT-BPM) firms have been given more time to transfer their registrations in order to continue enjoying incentives while implementing remote work arrangements.

Many IT-BPM firms located in ecozones adopted work-from-home schemes at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. The government initially allowed these but last year insisted that office work resume as incentives were only applicable inside ecozones based on the Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises (Create) Act.
